The Culver Farmer
As I was completing my Museum and Exhibition Culture course, the director of the Museum of Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee History was inspired to create an exhibit celebrating Culver agriculture and farmers. Though she had assembled a diverse group of items from the museum’s collections, she was at a loss as to how to interpret them. This interpretation plan served both as a project for the course, and as guidance on the creation of an exhibit. The museum directorship changed hands, delaying work on the exhibit, but it is now expected to open in late fall, 2018.
